Crisis Management Plan (CMP)

The Crisis Management Plan (CMP) establishes a framework for rapid and coordinated action in response to incidents that may compromise the drinking water supply or its quality.

It aims to:

  • Minimise impacts on public health
  • Ensure service continuity
  • Return to normal operating conditions quickly
  • Protect the utility’s reputation

It includes risk communication procedures as required by Decree-Law 69/2023.

The methodology applied by CMMartinho Consulting follows the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the EN 15975-1 standard.
